For two years now, BabyAmzyg's Editor-Voice has been silenced by depression.*  During this time, she has been perplexed and confused by many things.

For the purposes of Amzyg's mission, the one perplexity pertaining to tHIS blog, to every child's right to life and hope, is this: how did our entire nation -- with or without my own children -- become silent in the face of such overwhelming evil?

This silence requires the invention of a new word.

This new word needs to conjure that sense of a people's need to maintain a national state of denial. An obstinate, incalcitrant blindness.

It should capture a national media's silent complicity in this denial. A criminally negligent refusal to report facts because they are inconvenient and don't comport with their preferred outlook.

It should conjure a people's preference to ascribe virtue based upon what is shallow, hollow, and superficial; and the sense of a decided preference for materialism over denying themselves (i.e., "...the Electoral College ballots about to be cast (in Congress today) are arriving in MAHOGANY BOXes, for heavens sakes, therefore their contents mUst be valid..."  said reps Zoe Lofgren and some congressman from Maryland).

The problem with determining this new word is that the Scriptures (a holy authority no longer valued in this land) hint at two separate callings and two separate criteria for judgement at that great convocation at the end of time: individual people and individual nations are each called to different standards, and called to govern themselves by slightly varied sets of rules; so, should my new word describing moral blindness, folly and vaunted pride refer to a legislative body, or to the individuals who comprise that body? Or shall it be a blanket term for the entirety of the United States of America, which, for a brief two minutes of time somewhere between 1789 and 1799, surely must've been a city shining on The Hill for somebody, somewhere?

While I ponder this terrible horrible new state of affairs that is our time, do please take a minute to read my prayer fodder for the morning,

What is the definition of materialism?

16 hrs later, I have it. Simple: it's BLIND + IGNORANT + OBSTINATE = BLIGNOROUS.

Editors note:

After strolling, feeding, playing puzzles with and bathing a precious two year old grandchild, cleaning my kitchen, washing my floors, and finishing up a Congressional livestream from Washington DC (C-SPAN, you were a wicked fail), I must conclude that ...

...of all the citizens of these United States, I am most deserving to be called my new word, whatever it may turn out to be; because, after watching speaker after speaker give their five minutes in the House, many of whom were standing at a lectern directly positioned in front of Eric Swalwell, I was haunted by this persistent thought:

if I were in there, there'd be no way I could keep from sallying up to him and lobbing a Sandra Bullock inspired line from Blind Side,

Eric my friend, has your mother stormed into your kitchen yet, and cut off your penis?

Well, there you go. If I were in Congress, I'd fit right in with the "new order:" self righteous, angry and extremely lacking in decorum.  PERFECTLY blignorous.

Lorena Bobbitt for Senate!

Ethical Gymnastic

Incoherant ProAbortion Arguments explained by

"
For those keeping score at home, John Irving's apologetic for abortion-on-demand includes consequentialism, moral relativism that justifies abortion and incest, bad history and a mangling of the First Amendment.

But hey, other than that...

Well. This brought Me To Tears.

click on link: ACLJ Appeal

There is no other possible way to respond to this except to cry. Just cry.

"
...This is on the heels of successfully convincing the Administration late last year to cancel a similar contract the FDA had with an abortion related business that had been referred for criminal investigation for participating in the illegal sale of aborted babies’ body parts.
As we’ve warned before, these contracts create a market for aborted babies’ body parts – which is especially disgusting given the recent surge in extreme late-term abortion legislation, like we saw become law in New York earlier this year.
According to reports regarding a contract NIH had with UC San Francisco:
The contract—using federal tax dollars—creates a demand for organs taken from late-term aborted babies and its fulfillment is dependent on the continued legality of late-term abortions.
We already exposed Planned Parenthood for selling babies body parts on the black market for profit. No wonder they want to change the laws to enable even more abortions in our country. It’s simple but ghastly supply and demand.
Unborn babies are not a commodity for profit. They are innocent human lives, and research like this put them at additional risk, encouraging more abortions. We applaud this action by HHS, for not only ending this unconscionable contract, but for deciding to carefully examine any other contracts for similar research...                                              "

Would that our
$60 monthly contribution
to the ACLJ could become $600.
Until that someday,
one can only weep
for the chaotic blindness of
today.

A Forty Six Year Ponder... and Apology

It's Baby AmZyg's editor here, taking over whilst baby is out sunbathing in a hailstorm...

Watching Unplanned a few times made something very clear.  Something that was always missing from the pro-life angles that I've portrayed here and at other venues.

I want to blame my blindness on having been defensive since the 70's.  All of TV and news media, big business and even abortion victims themselves, have seemed to gang up,  megaphoning senseless arguments down the public's throat, and these have wearied, perplexed and vexed me to no end:

"...it's not human... it's a blob of tissue... it's not killing if it's smaller than a full term baby... if it is killing, then it's an incontrovertible right to do so... women are oppressed by their biology... babies can't feel pain... there are too many poor people in the world ..."

for answers to these and other arguments, try here:

When it was all said and done after 46 years of culture baiting, the obvious hard feelings on both sides made me numb. I took my marbles and went home.

Never did I think to get inside the head of an abortion victim and imagine how caught in the crossfire she might feel; how labeled this has made her.

It is my purpose here to convince that dear human, whoever she may be, wherever she may live and however she may feel, that I have never blamed her for her choice.

I've assumed everyone thought the way I think: that the ruse, being complete, has us all blaming the voices behind the megaphone: M.Sanger  and  P L A N N E D  P A R E N T H O O D.

Anytime a cultural elite (NOW, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, PBS, ABC, NBC, CBS, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times & every news outlet in-between, The Hollywood Machine, The Tech Monopoly (Google/MicroSoft/Apple, etc...), ivory tower academicians, the pharmaceutical industry, and need I add JOHNSON & JOHNSON?*) resoundingly approves, promotes, sells, repeats, albeit DRILLS a message into the collective conscience, how is it possible to fault someone for believing it?

How prone are we all to believe a lie that is told well and told often?

Oh, my dear.

When you allow yourself to outsmart these elites who've succeeding in selling their lies, you'll have a chance to undo their damage.  And when you do, then pray -PrayPRAYprayPRAY to carry on wiser and better armed to deflect their constant drumbeat with your own sweet song.

Know that no one here intended to shame you, judge you or embarrass you.  YOU are a casualty in a strange war on women and children that is disguised as a crusade for good while all along, you've seen the true outcome:  nothing good comes from lies.

You were sold a package that promised you rainbows and unicorns, and it's not your fault that the truth has willed out, exposing the elites for what they are:

Harvey Weinsteins and Andrew Cuomos all.

It's not your fault. YOU are their victim.

And I am a tiny Who down in Whoville, trying to amplify a very minuscule megaphone.  Forgive me for sounding insensitive and course.

And maybe even a little bit hoarse.

*Why would a company selling BABY products make donations to Planned Parenthood? It makes no sense.
(After 25+ yrs, still can't allow myself to purchase anything J&J)

UNPLANNED

My friend Eevie told me about UNPLANNED months ago when I scrawled it on the wall calendar in the kitchen: "Late March -Abby Johnson movie, Go w EV".  Before we bought our tickets today, we commiserated on Bella, October Baby and Silent Scream.

I told her that, after watching all of the trailers for UNPLANNED, I already knew what my take-away would be:

That if, instead of taunting women with provocative (annoying) slogans outside of abortion 'clinics', pro-lifers had given away copies of Silent Scream, we'd all be in a different place right now.

That's where all my good stuff went. Given out in front of Edward Allred's FPA  (Family "Planning" Associates") office on Long Beach Boulevard, 2009 +/-.

And for the record, while I was a "sidewalk counselor" there, posted for a two hour shift that I filled once a week for a year, I only heard one outburst that qualified as a "taunt."  Only ONE.  But it wasn't  one really. It was more of an IMPLORE.

And it worked. The recipient of the outburst turned back and took the caller's literature.

You never know what people need at any given moment.

I learned another thing that year...  That most of the women
going into Allred's exploitation chambers,
the VAST MAJORITY of them, did not want abortion.

MEN were making them do it.

Turns out that abortion is the biggest rapist of them all, behind the men who need it to cover up their deplorable sexual excesses.

Upon This Cuomo Ay May Dread, Judgment Fall Upon Thy Head

(((it's 3AM... bedraggled words and tortured grievance are keeping sleep from me. I can almost hear my eldest child (!snob) groaning at my amateur versifying.  Well, maybe she's right to complain, but hers has been ten years buried in dusty boxes; or un-emerged from her abandoned blog. I scowl. --ed.)))

In a wedding one should say
The best of promises to stay,
That when the heat of life prevails
Help comes forth within that veil.

As with marriage,
Nations stray
From manly promises to stay;
The fiber once based on a cause
To die to self,
Does fray to rot.

That's what we've got.

None know now what went before
When sacrifice was no big chore,
And light from Bibles formed the core
Of schools and children, courts and more.

Enter fakers, chumps and rakes
Whose thin disguises promise traits
They don't possess and worse, hold office,
Damning public trust professed.

I say no more! Let's cast asunder
One blaggard's name: now means to plunder
Life unto its morning breath:
That name Cuomo,

Re-named, means death.

Let good depart his memory
For causing untold misery
To my compatriots unborn
Who fall beneath this Cuomo's sword.

In wrenting, wrending, wresting us
From whence we live to New York's trash,
He tears apart more than our parts,
He wreaks a havoc on'th heart of

Constancy. Propriety. Honesty. Nobility.

"Off with these, descend to Hell:
The nation, laws, and innocence!"
Faustian barbarians
Takes he with him, and all of us.

In tearing children limb from limb,
Entire cultures warp to grim
Places where there is no light,
And lifelessness a daily plight.

Yes, "Cuomoed" will, for me, mean now
Chucking treasure from the bow
Of a ship about to sink
Into a cesspool of his stink.

"those whom God hath joined together let no man put asunder"

editor's note, December 2021:

The Cuomo's have now been Cuomo'd.
Thanks be to God.
A Catholic priest, last June, reassured me of the connection between deadly Sars-Covid stats for the city of New York and its leadership. He asked, 'why do you think it's such a hell hole there? God is judging the city for their pro-abortion sins.' Ah. Well said, Monsignor Barry.

P.S. - I'm not Catholic

Oh. Now I get it.

The strategy has been wildly successful: victory by saturation, victory by battle fatigue. Victory by overwhelm.

Since January of '73, the actual horror of legal abortion has increasingly come to light, and by sheer impulse, every upright human winces and looks the other way.

Our enemy is crafty. He knows us too well.  The more that abortion atrocities come to light, the more this weary nation just can't stand to know, and the more this people goes numb.

We are a nation in the mid - late stages of PTSD.

Only an act of God will snap us out of it.
